Over Christmas break, we took our nephews indoor skydiving. It was so much fun! Believe it or not, I’ve been real-life skydiving before! When I sold Cutco knives in college, they did a skydiving office outing. It was awesome!
Here’s an up-close of me in action during indoor skydiving.
For the last five or six years, we started gifting experiences to my nephews for Christmas rather than gifts. Not only is it more fun, but it also gives us a chance to spend quality time with them. Highlights include Star Wars at the Philharmonic (watching the film while the orchestra played live music), touring a chocolate factory, and playing Top Golf.

I had wondered about the cursive project, so I took the time to read about it, as well as delve into all your Friday finds. I love the Silent Film Event. I would need at least one other teacher to help with all these logistics — it is A LOT! But it would be a totally amazing experience for everyone! Last year, I had a student play along with a video clip from How To Train Your Dragon, which was exciting! Thanks for a great Friday, Finds #282!
