1 – April Veggies
Cooking using seasonal produce makes a lot of sense and I would like to say that I do that – I do try, but it’s not always easy. Anyway, this is what’s currently in season. Asparagus, snow peas, and radishes are my favorite Spring veggies.
2 – Winning Game
I finally bit the bullet and bought Note Speed that I’ve been hearing so much about. We played it in this week’s group classes and my students went crazy! Wish I would have bought it sooner.
3 – Annual Studio Challenge
Speaking of note-naming, my students and I are currently working on our One-Minute Club note-naming challenge.
4 – Simple Chores
For years I’ve relied almost 100% on our dishwasher (except items of course that shouldn’t go in there). Late last year I started washing more by hand. This was partially due to the fact that our aging dishwasher wasn’t always getting the job done. Our glasses were also noticeably clearer and cleaner-looking when hand washed, and I was kind of starting to enjoy it. Apparently, I’m not the only one out there who feels the same way.
5 – Today’s World
The silent tragedy affecting today’s children (and what to do with it).
6 – Nighttime Routines
Do you have little ones at home? I came across this super cute podcast that is a 2-minute story time to help the kiddos brush their teeth for a full two minutes. So cute! Check out Chompers.
7 – A Favorite Smoothie
Pineapple Mango Green Smoothie
8 – Making for Keeps
10 Salads that Will Last in the Fridge. #1 and #6 look like the tastiest to me.
