About this time last year, my husband and I were shopping for a new office chair for him. He tends to wear his out fairly quickly and has some back issues, so we really needed to find something comfortable and supportive.
While we were shopping, I practically stopped in my tracks when I came across these two Realspace® Modern Comfort chairs. I had been wanting something better for myself for a few years—mostly so I wouldn’t have to keep dragging my office chair back and forth from my desk to my teaching area across the room every day.
Both chairs were beautiful, but I personally found the low-back model much more comfortable and functional for a teaching space. Ever since I did a lot of office work for a temp agency when we lived in Australia (way back in our early days!), I’ve made a point to maintain good, supportive ergonomic posture while I work.
Of course, I now use a standing desk too, so I alternate throughout the day.
Anyway… I got this chair for a STEAL over the holidays at Office Depot! (currently on sale!) It’s listed on Amazon, but it’s not currently available. If you’re in the market for something stylish and comfortable, I highly recommend this one. It’s absolutely stunning and so supportive! (Here’s the link to the high back version as well.)
Keep an eye out!
(P.S. Note from two months later – my husband apparently thought it was HILARIOUS that I shared this picture as my featured image. I said, “Why not?!” LOL)

When I started this website back in 2016, a Friday Finds post was one of the very first things I published. I was inspired by a series I followed on Joy the Baker called Let it Be Sunday. She had started it just a year before I began my own, and impressively, she kept it going every week for nearly ten years! I kept this series weekly for a long time but eventually had to shift to posting once a month. (Of course, she had the help of other writers rotating through the posts!) Well, she’s officially calling it done now.
