I can’t believe I’m saying those words!
Let me say it again….The Piano Pantry Blog is Celebrating 10 Years!!!!!!
In the week leading up to MTNA 2016 in San Antonio, Texas, I launched this website and quickly published as many posts as I could in one week, including:
Since then, this blog has seen almost 600 posts, including almost 300 Friday Finds.
This week, I’m celebrating this huge milestone in three ways:
1→ Sharing a reflection on the podcast of 10 Things I’ve Learned from 10 Years of Blogging.
2→ I also created a special discount code for my readers to get 25% off anything in the Piano Pantry shop through Wednesday, April 1, 2026. Use the code 10YEARS at checkout.
3→ Sharing a list of all the blog names I considered before landing on Piano Pantry.
My friend Joy, another friend of hers who was good with wordplay, and I each threw out a bunch of ideas, then narrowed them down to the list you see here. The ones in bold were on our short list.

I’m a little late, but just wanted to say congrats on 10 years! Your blog is one of my favorites! It’s fun seeing your list of possible names, but it’s hard to imagine it as anything other than Piano Pantry now. Thanks for all you’ve added to the music teaching profession. I too am so grateful for all the friendships I’ve made in this wonderful community, including yours (launched all those years ago on a hot air balloon!). Many blessings for many more years of blogging!
Thank you so much Natalie! That means a lot coming from you. I hope we get to connected again in person some day!
