“I can’t understand why people are frightened of new ideas. I’m frightened of old ones.” -John Cage
Amy’s presentation was dynamic, energetic, fun and full of great material for the students to add to their knowledge. The detailed attention given for each resource was a tremendous help to my Piano Pedagogy students. She has given us the perfect package of resources to help us learn how to teach each student according to their abilities. Very well done!

At the Ohio Music Teachers conference a few years ago, I attended Amy’s session “Connect and engage: online professional development resources.” What a great talk it was! Amy has an immense store of knowledge, but the thing that makes her stand out is that she is able to communicate what she knows in a way that is as interesting as it is informative. As I was attending the session, I found myself wishing that all my current and former college students could hear her – entertaining, elegant as well as educational. Amy Chaplin is the real deal. I recommend her to everyone.
