Since we’re entering Spring recital season, I thought I would just give you a quick run-down of some of the posts here on Piano Pantry that might help you with your recital preparations.

What are you doing for your recital theme this year? Ours is “Pieces Everyone Knows.” That would mean anything from pop, Broadway, movie hits, worship, etc. Students are having fun picking out pieces. It usually doesn’t take them too long to know exactly what they want to play!

  • Our theme is “Meet the Masters” of classical music. The kids have been collecting and filling out those composer trading cards all year. We will have international foods at the “after party” and a slideshow during the performances of a picture of the composer and his country of origin. Thanks for all you share. You’re a blessing to us all!

    • That’s a great theme, Becky! The international foods inclusion is particularly interesting. I would love to hear how it goes and see photos (of the food especially!:-) when it’s all said and done!
